A Taste of the South Conference - Dunedin 1-3 October 2010 Minimize

The Dunedin Conference Committee is doing a sterling job of organising this year’s Conference, being held in Dunedin 1-3 October 2010, which is shaping up to be a beauty! The Landscapes of Distinction Saturday night Awards dinner at Larnach Castle aims to be a fantastic celebration of who we are and what we do,and will be held  in unique surroundings within a very special atmosphere - fun and fanfare.

We invite you to arrive in Dunedin on Thursday 30 September. 
The Conference will be officially opened at 9.30am Friday 1 October 2010.
Our Registration desk  will be open Thursday night from 5pm to 7pm at Living Space, or Friday 1 October 8.30am-9.30am at the Conference Venue.

Tickets to the Michael Hill public session of the Peter Fell ‘A Taste of the South’ Landscaping New Zealand Conference are very limited.   Allocation will be made on a “first in/first served” basis and priority will be given to Landscaping New Zealand Conference delegates.

The Taste of the South Conference Highlights Minimize

The Peter Fell ‘Taste of the South’ Conference is being held  in Dunedin Friday 1 October  to Sunday 3 October - the middle weekend of the School Holidays. We hope you take the opportunity to indulge in great southern hospitality and perhaps stay a little longer. 
 
In the meantime, think bagpipes, drams of whisky, men wearing skirts, haunted castles and landscapes to salivate over.  And that’s just the Landscapes of Distinction Awards programme! 
 
The Peter Fell ‘Taste of the South’ Conference will be a melting pot of cultural experiences:

Michael Hill will be presenting on development of “The Hills”, from concept to completion. 

This 1 hour session will also be made available to the public. 

Following Michael’s presentation, there will be a Business Q&A session for delegates only. 

He has also kindly agreed to mingle with us at  “Fivezies” in the Chinese Gardens.

Margaret Barker’s  presentation looks at Southern Hemisphere plants growing in the wild in Chile, Lord Howe Island, Tasmania, Western and Eastern Australia, New Caledonia and Brazil.  

Ending with sensational images of  Roberto Burle Marx’s garden near Rio de Janiero.
